3 After qualifying CTET, am I eligible for getting a job? Qualifying CTET does not guarantee employment. It is only one of the eligibility criteria for teacher recruitment.
4 If I qualify CTET, will CBSE provide me a job? No, CBSE is an exam-conducting body and does not provide employment.
5 What is the number of attempts a candidate can avail for CTET? There is no limit on the number of attempts for CTET.
6 What is the validity period of the CTET certificate? Lifetime validity as per NCTE notification dated 21.06.2021. Earlier, it was 7 years.
7 Can I apply for CTET again if I have already qualified before? Yes, there is no restriction.
8 Can I appear in Paper-I or Paper-II in different exam cycles? Yes, candidates can appear in different cycles.
9 I made a mistake in my details (Name, Address, Photo, etc.). How can I correct it? Online correction is available during the correction window. Candidates should check the Information Bulletin and correct errors within the specified period. No offline requests (fax, email, etc.) are accepted.
10 How can I get the CTET Eligibility Certificate and Mark Sheets? Available on DigiLocker: https://www.digilocker.gov.in
11 Who will get the CTET Eligibility Certificate? Candidates who score 60% or more are considered CTET Pass. School managements may give concessions to reserved category candidates as per their policies.
12 What are the “Weeding Out” rules? CTET records are preserved for two months from the result declaration date and then disposed of as per CBSE’s rules.
13 What is the procedure for document verification? Documents must be sent by the recruiting authority. The Verification Report is sent directly to the concerned department.
14 Can a candidate get a copy of the verification report? No, it is strictly confidential and sent only to the concerned department.
15 What is the CTET Information Bulletin? An official document published on the CTET website with all important exam-related information.
16 How is the exam center city allotted? CBSE tries to allot the first choice of the exam city, but it reserves the right to allot any other center if required.

22 How long does CBSE take for document verification? Since 2015, verification is done through QR Code. For offline verification, a letter from the concerned department must be sent to the CTET Unit.
23 Can candidates who completed graduation from IGNOU (open mode) and D.El.Ed from regular mode in the same year apply for CTET? CBSE follows NCTE guidelines. Candidates should refer to the CTET Information Bulletin on https://ctet.nic.in.
